Sunny and warm

 

A squirrel caught by the camera flash. Meanwhile a buzzard soars on thermals rising from the valley. 

 Today I saw quite a few butterflies, including a red admiral, a ringlet, a cabbage white and several that looked like marbled whites. However as large meadow areas of wildflowers have been mowed down, something I will never understand, insect habits has been much reduced.
