Bumblebee tree

 

Last year I spotted a bumblebee visiting the wildflowers on my balcony, the first I had seen in many years. Earlier this year on a particularly warm day in February I saw another. Today however there were many bumblebees visiting this tree, which was about the only one showing any signs of spring buds in the warm sunshine. Not sure what tree it was but no doubt all will be revealed in the next days as it begins to blossom.
