The far side

 

My SD card was wiped clean of today's images. I had hoped to post photos of the far side (the view from the opposite side of the Enz valley). However all the photos on the SD card were lost for some reason so all I could do was reformat the card. I will retake the landscape shots in a day or two but a nice tortoiseshell butterfly photo was lost and some wildflower shots. That was all after a trek down, up and down the valley (alt. 3x300m, dist. 8.5km and 13,000 steps).

This was the equivalent to opening the back of an analog camera and exposing the film to light before winding it into its cassette. Even the digital world is not full proof. So instead here is an image of the llamas during the mist a few days ago.
