Blue skies & fungi
The clouds disperse and we are finally treated to blue skies and a bit of sunshine. A welcome sight no doubt for my wildflowers on the balcony. The continued lack of insects, especially butterflies and bees must be due to the cold, wet spring and rainy July.
The wet weather has a plus side of course and one is the abundance and variety of fungi this year. We usually have to wait until September or October for the season to begin.
