Tiny bugs are easy to miss on these tiny wild strawberries.
Another strange bug that could be an ant or even a bee.
A ragged brimstone, battered no doubt by recent storms like many of the butterflies seen today. Below a meadow brown looking a little better.
There were more butterflies today but by midday an approaching storm soon had them taking cover.
So this is a ringlet butterfly, (above and below), it's a new name to me but I have seen them before.
A red admiral (below), I assume from the red marking, takes refuge in a tree.
